Pixel 11 Series Misses Android 17 QPR1 in October 2026 Update

Summary
Google’s October 2026 update left the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL and 11 Pro Fold on base Android 17 instead of moving them to Android 17 QPR1.
QPR1 had already reached other Pixel devices later in September, bringing interface changes such as system blur, a narrower media player, a “Don’t ask me again” mobile-data toggle and a new Keyboard Quick Settings tile.
This week’s Pixel 11 patch was limited to two fixes: a virtual keyboard that sometimes failed to appear in search fields, and photos or videos occasionally saving in the wrong orientation.
The delay follows an uneven update pattern for the lineup: two early September patches, a late arrival for Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 after missing Beta 6, and then normal access to QPR3 Beta.
A second October release looks unlikely, shifting attention to November or possibly December if Google waits to realign the Pixel 11 series with the rest of the device lineup.
