Michael Desronvil, the lone juror who voted to convict Lindsay Clancy, said in a televised interview he had no reasonable doubt and saw "a lot of evidence" supporting murder convictions.
11 other jurors instead backed finding Clancy not criminally responsible, producing the Sept. 4 mistrial in the case over the strangling deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.
Desronvil declined to detail the evidence, saying he would stay quiet out of respect for the court process, while again rejecting other jurors' claims that he pushed for guilt despite his own doubts.
Clancy's lawyer Kevin Reddington has asked Judge William Sullivan to investigate the holdout, seeking juror records, surveillance footage, phone logs and other materials; a hearing was postponed after Desronvil hired counsel.
Prosecutors say Clancy deliberately killed her children in January 2023, while the defense argues postpartum psychosis left her not criminally responsible, leaving the path to any retrial still unclear.
