Samsung Philippines became the official watch partner of the Cordillera Mountain Ultra, a Dec. 13 race in Benguet under the 2026 Philippine Mountain Games.
The tie-up sits under Samsung’s “Trail with Galaxy” push to draw more Filipinos into trail running through community sessions, outdoor experiences and race-day use of its wearable tech.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is being positioned for rugged terrain with dual-frequency GPS, Trail Run Mode and GPX route guidance, plus metrics for pace, elevation and climbing progress.
Samsung said the partnership will continue beyond race day with trail sessions and product experiences, while CMU registration remains open until Nov. 30.
