Summary
$1,399 buys Samsung’s latest flagship with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 200MP main camera and few major weaknesses, though the review says the price keeps it from broad appeal.
6.9-inch OLED hardware, a 5,000mAh battery and 60W charging help the S26 Ultra pair strong gaming and all-day endurance with premium basics like DeX and the S Pen.
45% thermal throttling in extended stress tests, a familiar design and questionable AI utility were the main drawbacks, alongside rear-glass scratching and a wide body that hurts one-handed use.
100x zoom remains more gimmick than tool, but the overall camera system stays highly competitive, making the S26 Ultra a leading all-around Android option for buyers willing to pay flagship prices.
