Summary
Apple has released the macOS Golden Gate 27.2 release candidate to registered developers, a step that typically signals the update is nearing public launch.
Version 27.2 adds Siri AI support in new languages and introduces new brightness and volume sliders, the main user-facing changes highlighted in the test build.
The RC arrived one week after the fourth beta, with developers able to install it through System Settings under General and Software Update after opting into beta updates.
A public release is expected toward the end of October if testing uncovers no major issues.
