ASUS ProArt P16 Showcases RTX Spark at $2,800, but Targets AI Users Over Gamers

Summary
$2,800 ASUS ProArt P16 impressed Engadget as a premium 16-inch Windows-on-Arm laptop, but the review says it makes sense mainly for AI professionals rather than mainstream buyers or gamers.
RTX Spark pairs a 20-core Arm CPU, Blackwell GPU and up to 128GB unified memory, letting the system run large local models like Qwen3.8 27B while staying slim at 3.9 pounds.
4,700 points over Apple's M5 Max in Geekbench 6 GPU tests and higher Procyon AI scores showed the chip's strength in graphics and AI workloads, even as CPU results trailed Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite.
70 fps in Control at 1440p ultra settings underscored solid gaming ability, but Arm-based emulation, anti-cheat risks and uncertain compatibility make a conventional Intel- or AMD-based gaming laptop a safer choice.
10 hours 51 minutes of battery life and a $7,000 price for the 128GB review unit reinforce Engadget's conclusion that RTX Spark is a strong niche debut, not yet a general-purpose PC platform.
