Amazon Cuts Pixel Watch 5 LTE to $399, Lowest Price Yet at $100 Off

Q: Why did Amazon suddenly slash the price of only one specific Pixel Watch 5 color?

Amazon most likely cut the price on that single Pixel Watch 5 color because it was discounting the variant it most needed to move, not because Google announced a broad price drop. The reporting shows the $399 deal was limited to one 41mm LTE configuration — the Olive version with the green band and matte gold case — while other colors stayed at full price. That pattern usually points to inventory management or demand differences at the SKU level. Retailers routinely mark down one color when they have more of that version in stock, weaker sales for that finish, or a temporary promotional allowance tied to that specific model. There is also evidence this was not a universal Pixel Watch 5 markdown. Earlier promotions had taken the LTE model only to $429, and separate deal coverage showed Amazon discounting select colors and configurations at different times, including Obsidian and Canyon in some sales, while the rest of the lineup remained higher. That suggests Amazon was testing or rotating discounts by variant rather than repricing the whole product family. The color-specific nature of the deal matters less for buyers than it sounds, because the included band is interchangeable. In practice, Amazon appears to have used the Olive SKU as the traffic-driving offer — a way to advertise a record-low LTE price without having to absorb a $100 cut across every Pixel Watch 5 version.

$399 buys the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 LTE on Amazon, marking a $100 drop from its usual $499 price.
The deal applies only to the Olive version, which pairs a green band with a matte gold case; other colors remain at $499.
That price is the lowest yet for Google's latest smartwatch, undercutting an earlier October promotion that only brought the LTE model down to $429.
The discount stands out because Google raised Pixel Watch 5 pricing versus prior generations, making meaningful deals harder to find.
