Huawei introduced an updated MateBook Fold Ultimate Design, priced at 24,999 to 29,999 RMB, as the latest version of its 18-inch foldable OLED laptop.
The new model keeps the 18-inch form factor but raises display resolution to 3296x2472, expands color gamut, upgrades to HarmonyOS 6.1, and adds handwriting input on the screen.
When folded, the device still functions as a 13-inch laptop, building on the format Huawei first launched in May 2025 with a 1,600-nit 3300x2200 foldable LTPO tandem-stack AMOLED panel.
That first-generation MateBook Fold started shipping in June 2025 at 23,999 RMB, putting the new Ultimate Design slightly higher in Huawei's premium foldable laptop lineup.
