Ubisoft tied the giveaway to Ghost Recon’s 25th anniversary, rolling out a franchise-wide sale with discounts of up to 95% across Ubisoft Connect, Steam, Xbox and PlayStation.
Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint are also free to play on PC and consoles through Aug. 10, but unlike Future Soldier those offers are limited trial periods.
Future Soldier originally launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 in May 2012 before reaching PC a month later, and it holds a 79 Metacritic score.
