Eccentrica revealed a roofless V12 Roadster based on the Lamborghini Diablo, with public debut set for August 14 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.
A re-engineered 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 delivers 550 horsepower through a six-speed gated manual, giving the 3,395-pound car a claimed 0-62 mph time of 3.8 seconds and 208-mph top speed.
Removing the roof prompted a dedicated aerodynamic study and carbon-fiber chassis reinforcements, alongside a widened track, revised suspension, semi-active dampers, hydraulic steering and Brembo brakes.
Only 19 examples will be built, each individually configured with more than 3,500 bespoke components and an interior trimmed in Connolly leather, Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber.
The Roadster was created with Borromeo De Silva and developed under former Lamborghini CTO Maurizio Reggiani, extending Eccentrica's strategy of modernizing 1990s Diablo character with contemporary engineering.
