Samsung Lets Galaxy S26 Users Uninstall SwiftKey in One UI 9.0, Freeing 55MB

Galaxy S26 users on the latest One UI 9.0 beta can now fully remove Microsoft SwiftKey, instead of only disabling it or rolling back updates.
About 55MB of storage is recovered when SwiftKey is deleted, addressing a long-running complaint from users who prefer Samsung Keyboard or Google’s Gboard.
The change also signals Samsung’s pullback from Microsoft tie-ins: newer devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy A57 reportedly no longer ship with SwiftKey preinstalled.
One UI 9.0 is still in testing for the S26 series, with Samsung focused largely on bug fixes as it works toward a stable release.
