Motorola said the Moto G Max will go on sale in India from Aug. 20 at Rs 27,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, with a Rs 1,000 bank discount lowering the effective price to Rs 26,999.
The phone’s headline hardware includes a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery rated for up to 3 days, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip.
Motorola is positioning the device on durability and display as well, adding a 6.72-inch 120Hz FHD+ screen, Gorilla Glass 7i, MIL-STD-810H certification and IP64 water resistance.
Android 16 ships out of the box with Google Gemini support, while Motorola is promising 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates.
The launch builds on Motorola’s push in India’s mid-range segment, where the Moto G Max is being marketed as a premium-design, long-battery smartphone.
