McCormicks Appoints Lanre Fakunle to Lead Employment Law After Former Head Retires

Harrogate-based McCormicks has named Lanre Fakunle head of employment law, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of the department’s former leader.
Fakunle joins as a senior associate from a Manchester practice, bringing experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
His recent advisory work has covered SMEs and large organisations on TUPE, restructuring, redundancy and HR and legal infrastructure, alongside Employment Tribunal representation across the UK.
At McCormicks, he will advise employers and employees on issues including incentives, transfers, disciplinary cases, sickness, maternity leave, dismissals, discrimination and whistleblowing.
