Their SEC title picks also diverged: Adams backed Texas on roster strength and upgraded skill positions, while Toppmeyer picked Georgia, arguing the Bulldogs' schedule is better suited to reaching Atlanta.
On the Heisman, both said the winner likely comes from outside the SEC, though each named Texas quarterback Arch Manning as the conference's best shot if an SEC player wins it.
