Bentley Unveils 657-HP 2027 Supersports, Capping Production at 500 Cars

The coupe is Bentley’s most driver-focused road car yet, swapping the Continental range’s all-wheel-drive hybrid setup for rear-wheel drive and a non-hybrid 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 producing 657 hp and 590 lb-ft.
Bentley says that layout change cuts roughly half a ton, bringing estimated curb weight to about 4,500 pounds; the car is expected to reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and top out at 193 mph.
Track hardware includes a wider rear track, revised e-diff and stability control, carbon-ceramic brakes, and carbon-fiber aero parts that add more than 660 pounds of downforce versus regular Continentals.
The two-seat model drops the Continental name and signals a broader performance push at Bentley, with executives indicating the Supersports is the first product of a new approach rather than a one-off.
