Summary
TrendForce estimates Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro will start at $1,249-$1,299 and the Pro Max at $1,349-$1,399 when the new models debut next week.
A 256GB memory chip now costs nearly 400% more than a year ago, lifting the overall bill of materials for a 256GB Pro model by about 38%, the research firm said.
Those increases imply a roughly 10%-20% price hike from last year’s $1,099 iPhone 17 Pro and $1,199 Pro Max, though Apple is expected to absorb part of the hit through lower margins.
TrendForce also pegs Apple’s first foldable iPhone at $2,099-$2,299, with top storage potentially above $3,000, while the standard iPhone 18 is expected in spring 2027.
