More than 300 women gathered outside the Plymouth, Massachusetts, courthouse in coordinated pink outfits to support Lindsay Clancy during her murder trial.
Supporters cast Clancy as a victim of patriarchal justice and untreated postpartum depression, while her lawyers argue her mental state left her not criminally responsible.
Clancy has admitted killing her three children — an 8-month-old baby, a 3-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter — by strangling them with exercise bands.
The courthouse demonstrations aimed to shape the trial’s emotional atmosphere, with signs such as “Believe” and “She Needed Help” and repeated media-facing displays of solidarity.
