Combined Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra sales in Europe have risen 50% from the Z Fold7 since launch, giving Samsung a record start for its latest foldables.
Samsung tied that growth to broader foldable adoption: Smart Switch data showed iPhone users moving to the Z8 lineup rose 60% year on year in the month after launch.
The lineup is also pulling users across Samsung’s own range, with moves from Galaxy Z Flip models to the Z Fold8 running at three times the pace seen for the prior generation.
Rival-brand defections extended beyond Apple, with 20% of Galaxy Z Flip8 buyers coming from competing brands, underscoring Samsung’s push to widen foldable use across Europe.
