Summary
Late September is the target release for Fujifilm’s Instax Link Wide 2 in the US at $179.95, updating its wide-format portable smartphone printer first introduced in 2021.
Photo Mixer is the headline addition in the companion app, letting users remix camera-roll images into collage layouts up to five times before editing, printing or sharing.
More than 1,600 stickers, plus frames, filters, emojis, text and color modes, expand personalization, while QR codes can embed links, locations, hidden messages or sound clips in prints.
The printer uses 3 x 5-inch Instax Wide film, connects to smartphones over Bluetooth, and can also take direct prints from the Instax Pal and Fujifilm X-T30 III cameras.
Fujifilm said the model answers strong demand from Instax Wide fans; the printer will also sell in Canada for $239.99 in beige or blue.
