Summary
$169.95 Instax Pal 2 will launch in the US later this month, giving Fujifilm’s tiny camera line a more usable sequel with both a 1.3-inch LCD and an optical viewfinder.
The new model upgrades the original Pal’s minimalist design with a 10-megapixel 1/3.06-inch sensor, f/2.2 28mm lens, autofocus, optional face detection, and manual controls for ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation.
Fujifilm also added a film-camera-style advance lever, flash, tripod mount, self-timer, and a rechargeable battery rated for up to three hours of use.
Bluetooth, USB-C, and the Instax mobile app let users transfer photos, add downloadable effects, and print images, positioning the Pal 2 as a pocket camera that bridges digital shooting and Instax printing.
