Grab, OpenAI Launch 30,000-Partner AI Training Program Across Southeast Asia

Over two years, GO Forward with AI will train 30,000 Grab driver, delivery and merchant partners, starting in Singapore before expanding to Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines later this year.
Half-day, in-person workshops will teach practical uses of ChatGPT and ChatGPT Work, from analyzing sales and planning promotions to building simple websites, dashboards and expansion plans.
Grab said demand is already evident in Singapore: half of surveyed driver and delivery partners use AI tools, and 87% of non-users said they were open to trying them.
The program builds on Grab and OpenAI's work since 2024, including a Driver AI Assistant that has reached nearly 500,000 drivers, and will extend to Malaysia and Vietnam in 2027.
