Summary
iOS 27.2 is set to add six headline features alongside bug fixes, with Apple timing the update around the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and upcoming iPhone Duo rollout.
Dual Capture will expand to Group FaceTime calls, while the redesigned Health app arrives with three tabs—Insights, Longevity and Browse.
Messages will gain Apple Intelligence-powered Suggestions, offering one-tap actions such as adding events or reminders and surfacing photos, locations and contacts from chat context.
Apple is also splitting Podcasts' Up Next into New Episodes and Continue Playing, adding user profiles to the Apple TV app on iPhone, and enabling anniversary reminders through Call Context.
The update also shows Apple catching up in AI messaging features already offered on Pixel and Galaxy phones, even as some additions—like Suggestions—were previewed earlier and delayed.
