Ravens Trade for Jacoby Brissett as 4-4 Baltimore Loses 3 QBs to Injuries

Q: What draft capital did the Arizona Cardinals acquire in exchange for sending veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett to Baltimore?

It was not disclosed in the reports cited. The trade was described as being finalized, but neither the main story nor the supporting material confirmed what draft pick or picks Arizona would receive from Baltimore. Some outside commentary speculated the return could be modest — possibly a late-round selection such as a sixth- or seventh-round pick, or a pick swap involving late-rounders — but those were projections, not reported terms. Based on the available reporting, the Cardinals’ exact draft compensation had not yet been publicly announced.

Baltimore agreed to acquire Jacoby Brissett from Arizona, with the trade expected to be completed this weekend and compensation still not finalized.
Three quarterback injuries drove the move: Lamar Jackson needed thumb surgery after his first pass Sunday, Tyler Huntley suffered season-ending turf toe, and Joe Fagnano is also managing an ankle injury.
Brissett, 33, gives the Ravens a veteran with 73 career starts; he has thrown for 1,719 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions in eight games this season.
Arizona had already dropped Brissett to third string after Gardner Minshew led a 33-30 overtime comeback over Dallas, making the deal an exit for a benched starter and a lifeline for 4-4 Baltimore's playoff push.
