Summary
Kaitlyn Farrell, a former Buena Park "queen," sued Medieval Times in June, alleging she quit in February 2024 after enduring sexual harassment, gender discrimination and retaliation.
The lawsuit says female cast members were treated as a "lesser class," complaints were ignored, and a manager even ordered costume stitching removed to trigger wardrobe malfunctions during live shows.
Farrell also alleges that after joining a 2023 strike she became the target of sexualized doxxing, cyberbullying and stalking by people tied to employees or management, and says the company dismissed her reports as "weird allegations."
A separate 2019 lawsuit by former employee Bethany Regan alleged horse abuse, unsafe conditions and retaliation after she reported concerns; that case was settled in 2020 under undisclosed terms.
Medieval Times, which operates 10 castles in the U.S. and Canada and employs more than 2,000 people, did not comment, though a former knight who left in 2015 called Farrell's accusations false.
