OpenAI Launches $125 ChatGPT Business Premium Seats With 5x More Usage

OpenAI introduced Premium seats for ChatGPT Business, priced at $125 per user monthly or $100 on annual billing, aimed at heavy-use employees inside the same workspace.
Premium seats provide 5x the usage of Standard seats, remove the five-hour usage limit and add predictable weekly resets after customers asked for more capacity.
Standard seats remain $25 a month, or $20 annually, and admins can mix Standard and Premium seats, reassign them, and manage billing, usage and spend limits centrally.
The first 10,000 eligible Business customers that join the waitlist can receive $100 in workspace credits per Premium seat—up to $500 across five seats—with the promotion ending August 20.
Some customers may get early access before general availability, while businesses that still hit limits can buy shared workspace credits for additional usage.
