Less than three hours of jury deliberation ended with guilty verdicts on all nine counts against Caleb Flynn, including aggravated murder, in the February killing of his wife Ashley at their Ohio home.
Prosecutors said Flynn, 40, shot Ashley Flynn, 37, twice in the back of the head as she slept, then staged an intruder story that conflicted with his later account to investigators.
100,000 text messages with mistress Alleigha Botner and data from Flynn's iPhone and Apple Watch underpinned the case, including messages saying he had thought of ways to kill his wife and wanted her "dead and gone."
A missing gun from Flynn's truck supported the tampering charge, while the defense called no witnesses and argued infidelity and circumstantial evidence did not prove murder.
Flynn, a former 2013 American Idol auditionee and Ohio pastor, is due to be sentenced on October 5 and faces life in prison without parole.
